Empathy Communication Determination

Pubs and restaurants wanted a weekly quiz night, but running one meant a laptop, printed answer sheets and someone tallying scores by hand between rounds — slow, easy to get wrong, and impossible for a venue to run on its own.

Built a multi-tenant live quiz platform. Each restaurant gets its own subdomain and its own isolated database, created from a central operator panel. Teams join by scanning the room's QR code from one phone per table, and questions, timers, answers and scoring stay in sync across every phone and the TV display over WebSockets, with a polling fallback if a socket drops.

A cycling and ecology association was running membership, events and photo galleries out of spreadsheets and social media. Event photos include children, so publishing them openly was never an option, and membership fees were collected by hand.

Built the association's own platform: a public site where every section is editable from a Filament admin, member accounts approved manually by the team, members-only galleries and events, membership-fee payment through Stripe, and GDPR flows for consent, data export and account deletion — plus a rate-limited bulk mail queue for announcements.

The studio quoted and invoiced every job by hand. Clients had no way to see what they had already paid or to order a standard service without an email exchange, and the team had no single view of what was still outstanding.

Extended their WordPress site with a custom child theme: a client dashboard where signed-in clients order fixed-price service packages and pay through Stripe Checkout, and a WP-Admin payments screen listing every order with collected-vs-outstanding totals, per-client history, and the ability to cancel a pending payment link. Prices stay server-side and authoritative, duplicate pending orders are blocked with a database lock, and registration is guarded by a honeypot, an origin check and a per-IP throttle.

A new cold-immersion, sauna and training bootcamp needed to fill its first editions, but had no site, no way to collect signups, and nobody on the team who was going to edit code to publish a new one.

Built the public site and its admin as a single Next.js + Payload application. Homepage sections, per-edition galleries, the day-by-day programme, testimonials and FAQ are all modelled as content the organisers edit themselves, and the admin panel is entirely in Romanian. Signups are captured through a server action; everything is self-hosted, with no payment processing anywhere.

A hand-built loft guesthouse in Sighișoara was reachable only through booking platforms — which take a commission on every stay and leave the owners without a page of their own to tell the story or take a direct enquiry.

Built a bilingual (EN / RO) single-page site backed by a small Node service that relays its two contact forms to email over SMTP. Everything is self-hosted: no CDN, no Google Fonts, no third-party calls at runtime, served behind nginx with TLS while the container itself never binds a public port.

A photographer and videographer was sending work to prospective clients as ad-hoc links, with no single place to present galleries, services and prices — and no way to update any of it without a developer.

Built a one-page dark portfolio against a written visual specification — fixed palette, Cormorant Garamond and Inter, mobile-first — with a gallery filterable by category and a private admin panel giving full control over galleries and categories. The contact form carries an explicit data-protection notice and a consent step.

After a shoot, handing photos over meant emailing links and then answering the same questions about where the files were and how long they would stay up. Clients had no account and nowhere of their own to look.

Replaced WordPress's default login with a custom front-end authentication flow and a client dashboard, built as a child theme. Clients sign in at /autentificare and land on a private profile page holding their account details and shoot sections, while only true administrators can reach wp-admin — everyone else is redirected to the front-end dashboard even if they go straight to the admin URL.

A print-on-demand studio sells customisable t-shirts, mugs and keychains, but customers had to imagine how their text or logo would actually sit on the product — which meant a round of mockups by hand before nearly every order.

Built a browser-based 3D configurator: the customer picks a colour, adds text or uploads a logo, and watches it applied to a real 3D model in real time, with a 2D flat preview of the print area alongside. Orders carry their full configuration, and the studio sends the customer a tokenised proof link to approve before anything is printed. The 3D viewer is lazy-loaded so the page shell still paints instantly.

Freelancers and small firms retype invoice data into spreadsheets by hand ahead of their annual declaration — slow work, and easy to get a digit wrong in.

Designed and built the full product surface for an invoice-extraction service: marketing homepage, a dashboard with processing stats, the invoice list, drag-and-drop upload, and subscription tiers — as a Vue + Inertia application on Laravel, with PostgreSQL and S3-backed storage already wired up.
